He is survived by : his wife Sharon Conklin (Steinberg); his children, Sean McCarthy, Daniel John McCarthy and Megan Ann McCarthy; his grandchildren, Cassidy and Jack McCarthy; and his siblings, Mary Alves (Fred) and Ray Conklin (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
