We bid farewell to Donald E. LaReau of Stratford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2026 at the age of 81. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred LaReau and Mary LaReau (Morris); and his siblings, Gerald and Monica. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Starrett LaReau; his children, David LaReau of Stratford and Marcia Bellerose (Mark) of Manchester, NH; his granddaughter Jessica Bellerose of Maine; and his brothers, Richard LaReau of Bridgeport and William LaReau (Linda) of Shelton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
