She was predeceased by: her husband Gilberto Valentin (Shorty). She is survived by: her children, Robert Valentin of Stratford, CT and Millie Valentin of Stratford, CT; her grandchildren, Abigail Valentin of Maryland and Alexis Valentin of North Carolina; and her sister Lucy Otero of South Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
