Howard Baker Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Baker Jr. of Stratford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Macey; his parents, Howard Baker and Jayne Baker (Moe); his daughter Jayne C. Mandeville; and his brothers, Ronald and Robert Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Baker (Doreen), Paul Baker (Ann), Bruce Baker (Elizabeth) and Jeanette Waite (Rick); his grandchildren, Jason Mandeville (Cherilyn Clements), Amy Mandeville, Sara Dupois (Nick), Sandra Cockerill (Austin), Sam, Lauren, Victoria, Tyler Baker, Rick, Chris, Jennifer, Bill (Cara) and Matt Waite; his great grandchildren, Viktor, Jakob, Wyatt, Ava, Rylee, Harper and Lennyn Jayne; and his sister Susan Gismondi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stratford Baptist Church (131 Huntington Rd, Stratford, CT 06614). The military honors was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
