He was predeceased by: his parents, Gutthorm Thoralf Eggen of Trondheim and Astrid Marie Peterson of Jonkoping, Sweden.; his wife Marci Eggen (Solheim); his sons, John and Jim of Pacoima, California; his brother David Eggen of California; and his half-siblings, Kolbjorn Eggen, Shander Eggen and Bornje of Norway.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Lamontagne (Jim) of Stratford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Stratford (2301 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615).
