With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene G. Kostzewski of Stratford, Connecticut, who passed away on March 29, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Daniel Piroscafo and Vincent Kostzewski; her parents, Francis Spitz and Jean Spitz (Dwyer); her brother Francis Spitz; and her brother-in-law George Chuba.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Madamba of Rhode Island, Alane Oleksiak (William) of Seymour, Lori DiBlasi (Jim Tadduni) of Stratford, Renee Zampedri (Morgan Pasicki) of Milford and Daniel Piroscafo (Tasha) of Milford; her grandchildren, Billy, Danielle DiLella, Lori DiBlasi, Taylor Och, Morgan Oleksiak, Dana, Kyle Piroscafo, Alexandria and Matthew Madamba; her great grandchild Malcolm Och; her sister Sandra Chuba; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Spitz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
