It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Philip Bott Sr. (Stratford, Connecticut), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bott and Vivian Bott (White); his son James Tiberio; and his brothers, Geo Setreus, Ronald Bott and George Bott.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bott; his children, Amy Bott, John Bott Jr., Troy Bott (Nancy), Christopher Bott and Roger Tiberio (Jodi); his grandchildren, Stephanie Bott, Ryan Bott (Desiree), Kevin Bott (Angela), Jake Tiberio (Josie), Kadee Tiberio, Braden and Josh Tiberio; his great grandchildren, Cameron and Carter Bott; his sisters, Connie Wadi and Polly Eagan; his sister-in-law Janet Hobocan (Ken); Alyssa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home (2611 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Church (530 Wigwam Ln, Stratford, CT 06614).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting the giving spirit he embodied throughout his life.
