He is survived by: his sister Felicita; his wife Miriam Batista; his children, Vivian Batista, Jose Batista Jr. (Irina Wynn) and Miriam Costa (Glenn); his granddaughters, Michelle Sharnick (Matthew) and Danielle Costa (William Diez); his great grandchild Josephine Sharnick; and his nieces and nephews, Xiomara, Doris, Norma, Mirna, Jose and Mayra.
