She was predeceased by: her parent Arlington Heights; her husband Stephen Brooks; her siblings, Jon Ricks, Raymond Ricks and Fannie Ricks; and her brother-in-law Anthony Toney.
She is survived by: her nephew Taylor Toney (Caitlin Toney); her children, Stephenie Brooks-Maynard (Nigel) of Hyattsville, MD and Jhasson Brooks (Robin) of Stratford, CT; her grandsons, Dylan Brooks of Naugatuck, CT and Jaden Brooks; her great grandchild Alani Brooks of Naugatuck, CT; and her sister Elaine Toney of Hillburn, NY. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces & nephews.
