He is survived by: his wife Susan Ann Frouge Palaia of Vincent's Medical Center; his children, Dawn Corica (late Carmen), Denise Sherwood (Schuyler), John Palaia and Susan Basciano (Jack); his grandchildren, Carmine Corica, Nicole Sherwood-Amico, Joseph Sherwood, Isabella, Michael and Gabriella Basciano; his great grandchild Ryan Amico; and his caregiver Chef Dorothy.
