With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcel Claude Arthur Bernier of Stratford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Bernier and Marcelle Bernier; and his siblings, Jacqueline, Jacques, Nicole and Micheline.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his daughters, Noelle (Steve) of East Haddam and Tara (Jon) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Reece and Josh; his nephew Doug (Marybeth); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alicia, Kelly and DJ; his sibling's children, Danielle, Eric and Gilles; his sister-in-law Susan; his sibling's children, Jennifer and Kerry; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Catherine, Devon, Xander and Christian.
