Megan McShane Obituary

Megan Elizabeth McShane, 62, of Stratford, was taken from us too soon on October 20, 2025. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late Winnie Amundsen Morel and Robert McShane.

A graduate of Norwalk High School, she attended Palm Beach Atlantic University , and worked in various jobs, including elder caregiving and catering. She loved the water, boating, gardening, outdoors and dogs.

She is survived by son Justin DiCosola, Sisters, Donna Taylor Ferguson, Paula Taylor Piro (Frank), Isa McShane Kiroff (Scott) Brothers: Charles McShane (Brie), Rob McShane (Jamie) and several nieces and nephews.

With gratitude for her simple, beautiful life, we mark the passing of Megan. Her Zen practice taught her to appreciate each moment as it came, and her presence was a quiet, constant gift to her family and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30, from 4-7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 PM. Other services will be held privately.
