Richard N. Hayes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard N. Hayes (Stratford, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Hayes and Helena Hayes; his children, R. Neil Hayes, Jr. of Essex, Linda Hayes-Lutian, Michael Lutian of Milford, Lori Hayes-O'Brien, James O'Brien of Trumbull, Kelley Hayes of Milford, Claire Hayes, David Lutian, Katie Lutian, Jeffrey Lutian, Elizabeth Lutian, Jonathan O'Brien, Katelyn O'Brien, Olivia Hayes and Brian Hayes, Jr.; and his wife Janet. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (2070 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615).
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Humane Society.
