Richard Saykosky Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Saykosky of Stratford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Casey Saykosky; his parents, John Saykosky and Anna Saykosky (Kovac); his siblings, James and Elizabeth Tackett; his siblings-in-law, James Casey and Patricia Castillo; and his nephew James Porter.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Regina Casey and Carlos Castillo; his nephew Peter Casey; his nieces, Connie McCudden (James) and Carlotta Castillo; his cousin Kathryn Wood; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Stephen McCudden, Samuel, Oliver Casey, Jennifer Porter Hynes and Jamie Porter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Church (500 Wigwam Ln, Stratford, CT 06614). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Boothe Memorial Railway Society, located in Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford, CT or to the American Cancer Society.
