We bid farewell to Sabina Ferris (Stratford, Connecticut), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2026 at the age of 88. Sabina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Ferris; her parents, James Whelan and Delia Hughes Whelan; and her brother James Whelan. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Ferris (Maun), Sean Ferris (Elaine), Mary Huminski (Bill) and Kristi Hoffman (John); her grandchildren, Tommy, Brendan, Jessica, Dylan, Shane, Brianna, Justin and Haley; and her great grandchild Colette. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Grace Monastery, 11 Race Hilll Rd., Guilford, CT 06437.

Sabina was a dedicated Saturday volunteer at The Monastery Gift & Book Shoppe at Our Lady of Grace Monastery in Guilford when I started volunteering in 2009; eventually cutting back her hours & then subbing a bit. Always kind, respectful & dressed to perfection, I enjoyed chatting with her! The last time I saw her she came to visit a favorite Sister at the Monastery with bags of goodies: so Sabina!. Love, Noreen Wolleben”
