He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Hetes and Margaret Mayernick Hetes; his wife Ann M Hetes; his daughter Nancy Gasper; and his siblings, Stephen Hetes and Mary Doran.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael and Robert (Sharon); his grandsons, Chip, Christian Gasper, Austen and Calvin Hetes; and his sister Ann Freibott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
