He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Flaherty and Victoria Flaherty (Lupoli) of Stratford, CT; his siblings, Tom, Joan and Bob; his wife Irene Liedke; his children, Matt (Alison), John (Bridget) and Kate (Sean O'Bryan); and his grandchildren, Jack, Luke, Juliette, Isla, Frances, Charlotte, Vivienne and Kathryn.
