We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2023, at the age of 94, Donald E. Nielsen of Suffield, Connecticut, born in Dover, New Hampshire passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his wife Marilyn Nielsen (Kezar); his parents, Frank Nielsen and Winona Nielsen of Berwick, ME; and his sisters, Beatrice "Terry" Libby, Winona "Winnie" Neal and Gladys "Dee" Mathews.
He is survived by : his son Peter (Mary Richards) of Winthrop, ME; his granddaughter Dr. Sarah Richards-Kim (Dubek); his children, Edison, Leonides and Franklin of Yarmouth, ME; his granddaughter Hannah Richards; his children, Austen, Willow of Belfast, ME. and Steven Nielsen (Lyn) of Manchester, CT; his granddaughter Kimberly Gordon (Glenn) of Avon; his great grandchild Griffin Thor; his grandson Erik Nielsen (Kara); his great grandchild Jack of Manchester, CT.; his brother-in-law Charles "Skip" Kezar of North Berwick; and his grandchildren, Thompson, Mary Mathews, Lloyd Neal Jr., James Kezar, Elaine Lajoie and Rev. Timothy Kezar. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
