The memory of Linda Sue Rutz in Suffield, Connecticut, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Blewett and Mildred Blewett (Alexander); and her sister Judith Walker. She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia Soucie (Clay) of West Suffield, Cheryl Pizzale of Moretown, VT and Melanie Flynn (Kevin) of West Suffield; her grandchildren, Rick Gemme (Patricia Reilly), Rebecca Chiarello (Mike), Ryan Gemme, Kristen Saunders (Matt), Emily Young (Corey) and Nicholas Pizzale (Nicole); and her sister Carol Holton. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (1240 Mountain Rd, West Suffield, CT 06093). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Linda was a member of First Church of Christ Congregational and memorial donations may be made in her name to First Church of Christ Memorial Gifts Fund, 81 High Street, Suffield, CT 06078.
