We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2024, at the age of 92, Mary C. Mellor of Suffield, Connecticut, born in Gardner, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph F. and Mary H. Mulqueen (Quintin); her husband Charles Stuart Mellor; her son-in-law Stephen Tillander; and her sister Rita Newbury.

She is survived by : her children, Elizabeth Tillander (Betty) of Enfield, Patricia Mellor of Torrington, Douglas Mellor (Laurie) of Wilbraham, MA and Charlotte L. Skawski (Zigmund); and her grandchildren, Patrick Clemens of Chicopee, MA, Erin Brule (Bryan) of Manchester, Beth Hamill (Ian) of Saginaw, MI, Seth Tillander of Burrville, RI, Chelsea Viets (Daniel) of Suffield, Bryce Skawski (Jenna) of Ft. Riley, KS and Christian Skawski (Angela) of Astoria, NY. She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home (443 East Street N, Suffield, CT 06078). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (446 Mountain Rd, Suffield, CT 06078). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Granby Cemetery (6 N Granby Rd, Granby, CT 06035).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Suffield Woman's Club Scholarship, 341 North Main Street, Suffield, CT 06078.
