Maureen Champigny Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maureen Champigny of Suffield, Connecticut, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Maleedy and Lillian Maleedy (Brackley); her husband Ralph; her son John James Champigny; her siblings, P. Owen Maleedy and Joan Droney; and her close friend William Case.

She is survived by : her children, Roxanne Raupach (Thomas) of Barefoot Bay, FL, Charmaine Perretta (Randy) of Enfield and Phillip Owen Champigny of West Springfield; her granddaughter Maria Maureen Perretta; her great grandchild Mckenzie Lila Bairos; her siblings-in-law, Charlene Maleedy of Windsor Locks, Eddie Champigny of Westfield, MA and Bob Sherman of Florida; and her friend Debra Alvarado. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leete Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Leete-Stevens Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (42 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
