With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Kurtz of Suffield, Connecticut, born in Flint, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kurtz and Marjorie Kurtz (Rafuse); his wife Joan A. Kurtz (Foss); his daughter Brenda Lemieux (Michael); his brother Robert Kurtz; his brothers-in-law, William Hunniford and Morgan Grant; and his son-in-law Gary R. Turnbull.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Turnbull of Agawam, MA, Cheryl Spurr of Huddleston, VA and Steven Kurtz of Suffield, CT; his grandchildren, Derrick Turnbull (Tracy Allen) of Feeding Hills, MA and Katie Coffin of Suffield, CT; his great grandchildren, Tyler Coffin of Suffield, CT, Autumn Turnbull of Feeding Hills, MA and Bailey Howard; and his sisters, Debra Creighton (Ted) of Manchester, CT, Marilyn Hunniford of Florida and Marjorie Grant.
