He was predeceased by : his siblings, Walter, Edward, Chester, Frank, Anthony and Lorraine Spulick; and his grandsons, Tommy and Mathew.

He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Kulas (Doane); his children, Robert (Mary), Leona Bevins (Jim), Walter (Kathy), Kathy Kulas, Richard (Gail), Judi Nichols Bronsord (Kevin) and Kimberly Strucks (Bronsord); his sisters, Florence Lesniak, Pat Humiston and Joanne Kulas; and his pet Mandee. He is also survived by Sixteen grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
