She was predeceased by: her husband Robert D. Carter; and her parents, Stanley Swartz and Amy Swartz. She is survived by: her children, Michael Carter of Enfield, Stephen Carter (Robin) of Stafford, Victoria Fitzgerald (Mark) of Enfield, Timothy Carter of Suffield and Todd Carter (Dennia) of Agawam, MA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Scott, Stephen Carter, Jr., Kelly Berrouard, Billy Fitzgerald, Travis Carter, Kaitlyn Coro, Briana Carter, Ana Carter and MacKenzie Carter; and her great grandchildren, William, Charlotte, Everett, Elliott, Carter, Kaylie, Riley and Abigail.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home (1816 Poquonock Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (220 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
