He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F McDermott, Sr. and Helen McDermott (Kelly); his sister Helena McDermott; and his daughter Susan E McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McDermott (Barrett) of Suffield; his daughters, Kelly M McDermott (Ray LaFontaine) of Arlington, MA and Debra M Fisher (Joseph Fisher) of Plymouth, MA; and his grandchildren, Kate, Joe Fisher, Julia, Carly and Haley McDermott. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Sisters-in-law, Brothers-in-law and many, many Friends.
