He was predeceased by: his father Augustine David Nocera; his stepfather Michael Long; his uncles, Thomas Leonard Kratzert, Edmund J. Nocera Jr. and David Beaubelle; and his aunt Linda Nocera.

He is survived by: his fiancée Melinda Gray of Griswold, CT; his fiancée's children, Amelia, Anderson and Emma; his mother Elizabeth Nocera of Niantic, CT; his sister Aline Nocera; and his brother-in-law Kevin Cunningham of Woodstock, N. Y.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (4 Lyme St, Old Lyme, CT 06371).
