She was predeceased by: her sister Virginia (Richard Glowacki); her niece Ginger Glowacki; and her nephews, Mark Glowacki, John Glowacki and Alexander Schiedel.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Charles Roderick; her stepchildren, Mark Roderick (Tracey) of Tariffville, Lisa Roderick-Westman (Mark) of Talkeetna, Alaska and Paul E. Roderick (Whitney) of Talkeetna, Alaska.; her siblings, Jane Mody (Madhu) of Encino, California, David Schiedel (Jean) of Lake Helen, Florida and Harold Schiedel (Janet) of Anthony, Florida; her cousin William Venezia (Judy) of Granby; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah and Tatum. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Barbara's memory to the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter.
