Cecilia Plawecki Obituary
Cecilia Plawecki, born on May 17, 1925, passed away on October 13, 2026. Cecilia leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward F. Plawecki; her parents, Fred Vaillancourt and Edith Vaillancourt (Gagnon); her children, Michael, David, Paul Evans and Carol Berry; and her siblings, Alvin Vaillancourt, Evelyn Van Buren, Cora Roucoulet and Irene Ramo.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Marion, Jane DuBois of Watertown, Jean Graf (Paul) of Harwinton and Daniel Evans (Marielle) of Plymouth; and her children-in-law, Caroline Evans of Waterbury and Frank Berry of Thomaston. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren; as well as, several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home, Inc. (169 Main St, Terryville, CT 06786). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery.
