We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2025, at the age of 93, Herbert A. Bush Jr. of Terryville, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Herbert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Herbert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Herbert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Bush (Iammatteo); and his parents, Herbert A. Sr. Bush and Lucille Bush (Zack). He is survived by: his children, Charles A. Bush (Melinda Wight) of Middletown and Julie Pearson (Sam) of Knoxville, TN; and his grandchildren, Casey Bush, Nicholas Pearson and Mia Pearson-Loomis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home, Inc. (169 Main St, Terryville, CT 06786). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Scott Funeral Home (169 Main St, Terryville, CT 06786). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (170 S Main St, Terryville, CT 06786).
