He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilton Hawes and Marjorie Hawes (Duff). He is survived by : his wife Marie Hawes; his sons, Paul (Kate), Larry (Sara), John (Trish) and Andrew (Jessica Hawes); and his siblings, Sue Piercy, Shirley, Drueschler and Wilton Hawes. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
