The memory of Anita Ellin (Thomaston, Connecticut), who passed away on April 21, 2024 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sarah Oppenheimer (Persky) and Solomon Oppenheimer; and her siblings, Sandra (Fred Goodman) and Morton Oppenheimer (Isidore "Izzy" Ellin). She is survived by : her children, Lisa Ellin of Ithaca, NY and Gary; her daughter-in-law Tammie Ellin (Cohen); her son Randy Ellin of East Hampton, CT; her grandchildren, Joshua Ellin, Alana Ellin, Jay Hirsh and Dakota; and her sister-in-law Adrienne "Dee Dee" Oppenheimer (Aston). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Hazardville Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 5:00 PM at 2 Ellen Ln, Thomaston, CT 06787.
