With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Smart of Thomaston, Connecticut, who passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Phyllis Smart (Coro); and his parents, Earl Smart and Edith Smart (Howes). He is survived by : his children, Eugene Smart (Sandy) of Terryville, Sandra Bright (Art II) of California, Cynthia Miller (Bob) of Forestville, Shelia Smart of Torrington, Sherry Moreland (Billy), Cheryl Brazee (Mark) of Thomaston and Pamela Smith (Randy) of Terryville; and his sisters, Rachel Philbrick of Maine and Ruth Way (Ronnie) of Maine. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
