Jeffrey R. Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 72, Jeffrey R. Smith of Thomaston, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jeffrey is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jeffrey's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Smith and Cleo Smith (Allen). He is survived by: his spouse Kim McNellis; his children, Evan Smith and Courtney Smith; his siblings, Brenda Letourneau of Manchester, Sharon Olson and Richard Smith; his niece Kelley Schaefer; and his pet Ellie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (1 Marine St, Thomaston, CT 06787).
