(McDermott) Schiavo; parents: James Schiavo Sr. (Diane) and the late Sandra (Charette) Schiavo; brother: James Schiavo Jr. (Alicia); grandmother: Grace Napolitano; step-siblings: Tamara Heckathorn and James Charles; mother-in-law: Cathie Barra; sisters-in-law: Christen Lindstrom (Jeff) and Carlie Dailey (Brian); brother-in-law: Andrew Barra; nieces and nephews: Dylan Schiavo, Isabela Schiavo, Robert Lindstrom, Jude Lindstrom, Edgar Lindstrom, Kathleen Dailey, and Maeve Dailey; pet: Cooper (dog); and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (669 Platt Rd, Watertown, CT 06795).
