He is survived by: his wife Janet Gagnon; his daughter Shelia Gagnon; his stepdaughter Lynn Famiglietti; and his grandson Chase Duntz. He is also survived by brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Thomaston Fish and Game Club (730 Old Northfield Rd, Thomaston, CT 06787).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Robert's memory may donate to the Thomaston Police Department and its Explorers Program, a cause that was meaningful to him and his family.
