Elmer Henry left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Preston and Ethel Preston (Mason); and his siblings, Raymond, Harry, Alfred, John, Maurice, Richard and Alice Preston.
He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Preston (Veraneault) of Thompson; his children, Keith Preston (Valida) of Clarkson, KY, Jeffrey Preston (Cynthia) of Woodstock and Kim Lumbra (Ken) of Niota, TN; his grandchildren, Eric, Megan, Keifer, Kolbi, Adam (Danielle Preston), Jocelyn Fletcher (Brad), Laura Richard (Nicholas) and Kayla Trickel; and his great grandchildren, Dorian, Aiden, Zoe, Logan, Keegan, Kayleigh, Finley, Nolan, Amelia, Charolette and Hudson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valade Funeral Home (23 Main St, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255).
