He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sauro and Thelma Sauro (Goodhue). He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Sauro (DiStefano); his daughters, Shannon Sauro, Deborah Hayes and Tina O'Brien; his brother Frank Sauro; his mother-in-law Anna DiStefano of Millbury; his siblings-in-law, Salvatore DiStefano (Susan) of Shrewsbury, Charles DiStefano of Millbury and Dianne Mondor (Jim) of Auburn; his grandchildren, William, David, Katie, Joseph, Nora and Cara; his nephews, Rocco, Salvatore and Nicholas DiStefano; Chris Cook of Missouri.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605).
