He was predeceased by : his parents, Warren Johnson and Mary Beverly Johnson (Markham); his sisters, Charlene "Candy" Baker and Jill Johnson; and his son Christopher A. Johnson.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Peltier-Johnson (Peltier); his sons, Michael N. Johnson and Matthew W. Johnson; his daughter-in-law Jackie (Kelley); and his grandchildren, Max and Josie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
