He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Merchant, Sr. and Harriet (Appelof); and his brother Carl Merchant. He is survived by: his wife Lisabeth Merchant; his daughters, Shannon Morrisette and Caitlin Merchant; and his granddaughters, Brooke and Paige Morrisette.
