With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol (Norige) Bunce of Tolland, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol (Norige) Bunce to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas O. Bunce; and her parents, John J. Norige and Estelle Norige (Masilonis). She is survived by: her pets, Mandy, Bobby and Jordi; her great grandchild Addyson; her children, Karen Ketaineck (David) of Broad Brook, Deane Bunce (Diana) of Frederick, MD, Mary Messenger (Kenneth Sweeney) of Vernon and James Bunce (Suzanne) of Tolland; her grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Sarah, Alexander, Zachary, Lindsay, Christopher, Nicholas and Brian; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Madison, Evan, Reagan, Jacob and Lennon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Parish - St. Matthew (111 Tolland Grn, Tolland, CT 06084). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the South Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter/rescue of your choice.
