It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adele A. Zaharek of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emlio Peveri and Maria Peveri (Gradoni); her children, John Marciano and Denise Marciano; and her brother Joseph "Pino" Peveri.

She is survived by : her husband Rit; her stepchildren, Janice Zaharek (Ronnie Kittle) of Torrington, CT, Richard Zaharek Jr. (Lisa) of Aiken, SC and Lori Demaraies of Canaan, CT; her stepgrandchildren, Robbert "Kyle" Messick, Kassi Brockamer (Derrick), Richard "Trey" Zaharek III (Danielle), Haley Zaharek of Christopher, Root, Erik Root, Joel Demaraies and James Demaraies; her niece Tina DePaul; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley, Lindsey, Rylee and Wendy Calabrese (Vinnie); her sister-in-law Judy Willoughby; her nephew Jason Jerrykitz; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sage and Carly; and also, Maleah, Joey, Nicky, Dominic, Audrey Cremasco (Rick), Carmelina Calabrese and Angela Calabrese.
