He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kuehl and Ann Kuehl (Rusczyk); and his wife Lillian Kuehl (Dombroski). He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Schmitt, Diane Gioia, Gail Patenaude (Allen) and Donna Yousefzadeh; his grandchildren, Ron, Heather Schmitt, Jake, John Gioia, Austin, Nate, Devin Patenaude, Nick, Sarah Yousefzadeh and Jillian Coons; his great grandchild Ryder Coons; his sister Patricia A. Barella; and his close friend Jeanne Gracey.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home (258 Prospect St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (78 Litchfield Rd, Harwinton, CT 06791). A burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the New St. Francis Cemetery (863 S Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).
