Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David John Leonard (Torrington, Connecticut), who passed away at the age of 85, on July 13, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy and Isabelle; and his siblings, Bill, Betty and Diane.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Leonard (Hornyak); his children, Colleen Schoenwald, Karen Tesch (Jeffrey), John Leonard (Karen) and Brian Leonard; his grandchildren, Caroline Elliott (Sean), Victoria Schoenwald, Corey Tesch (Christine), Brenden Tesch (Lisa), Kyler Tesch, Caitlin Pẽna (Lou) and John Patrick Leonard; his great grandchildren, Charles, Scarlett, Lorenzo, Jaiden and Gabby; and his sister Linda D'Angelo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (76 Walnut St, Torrington, CT 06790).
Donations to the American Red Cross or the American Cancer Society in David's memory would be appreciated.
