He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dennis O'Neil and Elizabeth O'Neil (Betsy). He is survived by: his brother Rick O'Neil of Manchester; his nephew Nicholas O'Neil Stedman of Washington, D. C.; his godson Neil Alexander Stedman (Linda); his great-nephews, Jack and Beau Stedman of Alexandria, VA.; and his nieces, Stephanie Sneiderman Moses of Holly Springs, NC and Amy Sneiderman Green of Oakland, CA..

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in Don's honor to Clayton House, 203 Williams Street E, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
