She was predeceased by: her husbands, Samuel Cappellina and James C. Thomas; her parents, Lester Smith and Agnes Smith (Maloney); her granddaughter Kimberly Pretak; and her sister Rita Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Clapps (Thomas); her grandchildren, Gary Beecher, Robin Beecher and Sherry Weik; and her sister Virginia Prasso. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
