Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Ladislav "Larry" Lukes; her parents, Peter P. Burriesce and Annamarie Burriesce (Marshall); and her siblings, Peter Burriesce and Jean Schofield.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher L. Lukes (Karen) of Torrington, CT, Peter P. Lukes (Dianne) of Torrington, CT and Kathy Jurkowski (Frank) of Westhampton, MA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sullivan Senior Center.
