He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George W. McCabe and Emeline McCabe (Ryan); his wife Elaine McCabe (Mollica); his daughter Maureen McCabe Woundy (Thomas); his granddaughter Violet Mae; and his siblings, Stephen McCabe (Angel) of Pawcatuck, CT, Carol Stenico (Richard) of Westfield, MA and Theresa Fortier (Joseph) of New Hartford, CT. He was also cherished by his family and many friends.
