She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman and Mary Herman (Varricione); and her husband Joseph J. Shaia. She is survived by: her children, Paul J. Marino, Jr. (Laura) and Mary Ann Marino of Winchester, CT; her grandsons, Paul J. Marino, III (Hanna) and James D. Marino (Briana); her great grandchildren, Paul J. Marino, IV, Estelle Marino, Emma Jean Marino and Cara Grace Marino; her brother John S. Herman (B. A. Realty) of Winchester, CT; and her nieces, Kate M. Herman and Tess P. Herman (Zach Schweitzer) of Maui.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (21 Fern Dr, Torrington, CT 06790).
