She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Torsiello; her parents, Concetto Vernali and Santa Vernali (Randazzo); her daughter Sandra Troughton; and her sisters, Concetta Kincaid, Vivian Michna and Lillian Fredsall.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Torsiello (Cathy) of Torrington, CT, Robert Torsiello (Kris) of Jupiter, FL, Linda Asklar (Jerry) of Harwinton, CT and Deborah Hagibes (John) of Lake Worth, FL; her son-in-law Greg Troughton; her sister Rose Kupcho of Southington, CT; and her close friend Evelyn Low. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cook Funeral Home (82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Our Lady of Hope Parish) (78 Litchfield Rd, Harwinton, CT 06791).
