He was predeceased by : his parents, John W. Higgins, Sr. and Julia Higgins (Seger); and his daughter Colleen Ann Higgins. He is survived by : his son John W. Higgins, III of Torrington; and his sister Mary Grenier of Torrington.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home (258 Prospect St, Torrington, CT 06790).
